Viking Publishing is taking care of the publicity and they are planning national exposure. I was asked how many we were expecting. Due to the capacity of Lifeway Christian Conference Center, we can only accept 200 registrations and that is why we will have a cozy, intimate group. During the Primrose Tea we will present her with the quilt made for her by our members as well as the scrapbook. If you would like to submit a scrapbook page for the album, please do so. PM a message to LVSMTNS, Mary, who is the chair for this committee.
Viking Publishing is bringing Ms. Karon to us at no cost to us and they have donated the cost of the Primrose Tea! We are extremely fortunate to have this miracle occur...one we have been discussing, praying about and longing for since August, 2003 - nearly 2 years in the planning.
Our membership on the bb has gone from about 800 members then to over 13,000 now. If you want to join us for this joyous occasion, please PM our own MamaChacha aka Diane, and she will give you instructions on where to send your registration of only $85! We had thought it would be $100 or a little more, but due to the generosity of Viking, we will not be required to pay Ms. Karon's travel expenses nor for the Tea. However, to attend the Tea, registration must be paid. It is not open to the public nor to bulletin board members who don't register for Homecoming.
