Here's the recipe....it's not exact as I just do it a dab and a pinch at a time....but it's as close as I can get to writing it down! Good Luck!
My family doesn't think it's Thanksgiving if they don't have these...and if there are any left they run around all afternoon with one in hand...nibbling away...:)

Sausage Apple Stuffing Balls

1 bag seassoned stuffing mix
1 lb. sausage of choice (I use mild)
2 Apples (I use whatever I have on hand)
1 med. onion
1 cup melted butter or margarine
2 1/2 cups hot water or broth

slice and brown sausage in skillet. Drain and set aside. (You can save the grease and use as part of the melted butter or margarine if you wish.)
Put Seasoned stuffing mix in a large mixing bowl. Pour melted butter and broth over dry mix.

Peel and chop onion and add to stuffing mix.

Peel, core and chop the apples in small pieces and add to thte stuffing mix. (I sometimes only use 1 1/2 apples...according to how much stuffing mix I have)

Mix together with hands until thoroughly mixed. Shape into about 2" to 2 1/2" balls and place in muffin tins.

Bake in over as directed on your stuffing mix bag. (I bake mine at 350 degrees about 35 to 45 minutes. They will be sort of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside when done. Enjoy!

We like them cold just as well as hot! Mabel
