I would love to see a television series based on the Mitford books. The success of "Seventh Heaven" makes me think this is possible. Has there been any consideration for this? What do others think? Another author, Sharon McCrumb, tells me she refuses to have her books made into movies for fear they will make her characters into hillbilly stereotypes. I have read 5 of the books now, and I keep seeing them as television scenes. Even the way Jan writes the chapters divided into short segments with frequent scene changes is perfect for television.
